Crazy Saturday
Today we were busy. Early a.m we had our friend Courtney over for a visit. We call her Cornelius, but don't tell her I said that. She was so kind to bring over some more books for the boys. She's always bringing gifts-luv her. Then we went to the park for our Twin Group Easter Egg Hunt. It is always great to see other multiples and their families. The boys and I were running a bit late (darn nap schedule!) but we were still able to make it for the end. I so badly wanted to get a pic with the other twin/triplets. Oh well.... we finally got to wear our Dr. Seuss' "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" outfits. So fun! I had to post a pic of their bums...adorable!
After the park we went to my friend Jennifer's grandparents, the Parsons, for a visit. Jack fell asleep so peacefully in Mrs. Parsons arms; we could have her over more often. hehe
Then, it was off to the Mazza's for a walk. At first it sounded like a really good idea....until I loaded each baby in the stroller along with all their gear (you can never be too sure-you might need something lol) and realized how HOT it was today. It was only 80something, but this mom is always working up a sweat with the two kiddos so adding to that the warmer weather was not a good match. I was sad to find out that I had gone too far and that only meant I had that much farther to get back to the house.
New Mom Notice:Do not plan on taking babies for a walk in cute rhinestone flip-flops. You will have blisters!!!
Jack Teegan
Here's Callahan at the Mazza's. He was so tired from our busy day. After our walk I decided to lay him down on a blanket. He put his head down immediately falling fast asleep. Poor guy.
Wheww! Mom could use a nap too!
P.S. I have put the names of the boys by their pic today just for you Uncle Toni. :)

A Visit from Uncle Ryan
We were soooooo pleasantly surprised for uncle Ryan's visit from Tennessee!!! He was able to see the boys for the first time last weekend. Ryan came into town for only 48hrs but was able to squeeze in some time with our family to see the boys as well as take Kev out to play some morning golf...hmmm......of course they would---those sports fanatics!!! Only bummer was we didnt get to see Lizzy, his wife. Why do you have to live so far away???
Jack & Callahan
Jack and Callahan are becoming more and more fun. Jack is eager to start sitting though he isn't even close to mastering the skill and Callahan loves to talk. Both are rolling, becoming more verbal, and beginning to enjoy toys; they love their Baby Einstein from Uncle Ryan-Bakersfield (they have Uncle Ryan in Tennessee too). The boys are sleeping through most of the night-Thank God!!! We try to maintain their schedule give or take some of our outings. We love our mornings with Hudson and Dani at Starbucks-mommy's favorite! We wish we could spend more time with Ryan & Lizzy in Tennessee and Christi in San diego. Christi we promise to make a trip soon. Speaking of trips, Kev and I are taking the boys to the Cambria beach house for Spring break. I'm soooo excited.
Our 1st Restaurant Outing With The Grandparents
Kevin and I braced ourselves for our first restaurant experience. I was a bit nervous; Kevin just waiting to go for his cheeseburger, fries, and pie for $7.99 at Marie Callenders. We invited the grandparents at the last minute and sure enough they were there along for the experience and it was Great!!! The boys were well-behaved (thank you very much) and we all enjoyed ourselves. Did I mention there was nothing but grandma's and grandpa's in the restaurant and oh did they love the boys. Mom was happy as long as the baby touching was at a minimum. lol
We're Free!!!
We are finally getting free and outta this house. The boys and I are trying to meet up with friends a couple times per week either at the park for a walk or the closest coffee shop. Here we are at the park with our twin friends of the Babb family.
I'm trying to keep up with my new hobby (sewing) although it can be rough with the two little guys. I am currently working on finishing some burp cloths for a friend of mine that just had a little girl. Oh-what cute fabrics they have for little girls! I wouldn't trade the boys for anything though.
Kev continues to play baseball and occasionally out of town tournaments. He has a blast while mommy and the boys circle around the ballpark over and over in our red diesel-a.k.a our stroller. (nicknamed by grandpa and grammie)
